Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Our NEW President!
Good Morning everybody , all five of you! Who ever the next president is I
plan to meet with him, her about the club sponsoring a KCBS BBQ contest with
most of the proceeds ( is that a fancy word for money) going to one or more of
our many charities! Most of the BBQ contests I enter are sponsored by city
groups or retailers who almost always show a profit. The Police Athletic league
in the city I live in has a Super Bowl BBQ contest every year on Super Bowl
Sunday, we won it one year and took second the year before ( one of my team
mates is STILL bitching about that second place finish!) anyway it takes about
a year to organize and plan but I'm willing to organize it! Speaking of BBQ
contests, this past Saturday we came in 8th place overall out of 33 teams ,
didn't win any money but had lots of fun! The temp was 105! That's hot! That's
damn hot! Next Contest Aug 12, but if it's that hot again I ain't going! lol.
Congrats to the Review editor! Very nice issue! Iza honey, I'm with ya, I'm so
damn sick and tired of eating BBQ! lol FB
