[ SHOWGSD-L ] Our Breed and Promotion

Please be advised that the last time I discussed the dog Calvin I was accused
of promoting a dog and that was against AKC rules. I promptly contacted the
judging department of the American Kennel Club to discuss the matter with them
and was advised that I had not broken any rule, that the person who had accused
me was misinformed, that one might interpret all critiques as promoting if that
be the case and the AKC Judges Department further advised me to NOT respond to
false accusations of wrong doing.
If I see a bad trend in our breed or a good one, I will comment on it. I will
bring it to the attention of others. If I perceive something as very special I
will say it. I comment on Dallas and sons and their importance.
