I know that we do have some GREAT Board members! They listen...they show..
they have supported the National for many years and they know what is in our
hearts!
Please support them and appreciate them. HOPEFULLY we have a couple more
coming on the Board with the new voting cycle.
Let's not pin them to the dart board along with those who do NOT hear us....and
do NOT care and never will care.

A bigger question will be what happens when more clubs leave. Right now the
clubs get nothing for their membership dues other than the sometimes late
approval of their events as required by the AKC. If clubs reform as something
other than a specialty club they can still do lots of events without dealing
with the parent club. The GSDCA does more to discourage new members than they
can imagine. They have blinders on and the bit in their teeth.
It is unfortunate that it takes so few organized voters to elect a slate. Place
lots of names on a ballot and then drop hints about how they are not with "us"
but do "working dogs" and you get more people to vote for the known commodity.
I see this club getting smaller and smaller - and the GSDCA represents the 2nd
most popular breed in the country. Amazing.
At some point there has to be a huge change in attitude. But I am not holding
my breath. I just refuse to give them my $$.
