I admit my brain is getting old and creaky, but I don't remember the
Lone Ranger have a faithful German Shepherd companion....Tonto, yes...
but no dog of any sort.
However, Roy Rogers had a German Shepherd named Bullet....and I understand
that after he died he was stuffed and mounted, just like Trigger, in a Roy
Rogers
museum.
