I love the idea of critiques, either written or oral. In the past it was customary for judges to submit their critique to the Review to be published when the wins were published. I don't know why we have gotten away from this, maybe because it is work or possibly the critiques just became the same ol thing after a while. Some judges still submit written critiques and I think that they are great to read as long as they are real and not some politically correct bunch of words.
