Unfortunately, there are a lot of people in this breed that want to wear
their rose colored glasses and not be told by someone who has the
qualifications to judge their dogs -- what their dogs faults are. Then of
course there was the fiasco at the National -- where the captive audience
opportunity to bring a very useful tool to fruition -- to have the audience
have a reason to sit, watch and maybe learn -- well IMO, it was so poorly
handled that I doubt we'll ever see oral critique's at the National, and
that is a shame, because well done, critiques at a show would be of benefit
to a lot of people.
Whether or not you agree with the judge's assessment, at least you know what
they thought, what they saw, and believe it or not, other people's
assessments of your dogs can be helpful.
