Evan, we did just vote and the membership let the PC know we did not want
White GSD with an ILP to be eligible for National Titles. The fact that
they are taking another angle to get this through is DISTURBING. As White
GSD owners join the GSDCA, they will have an increase in votes for a
DISQUALIFICATION that will do nothing to enhance our breed. Or are you
supporting breeding to a White GSD with your own lines (a serious fault if
the change goes through?)
Was it not enough that the PC changed the premium list wording in 2013 to
allow white GSD's to earn titles developed by some of our breed icons? That
was shameful and disrespectful to those who created the awards and felt
strongly that our performance Victors uphold the basic standard.
I respectfully disagree that the PC should for THE THIRD TIME find a way to
cram this through. The membership is clearly against it. This is all about
revenues, it is not about the breed.
