Re. girl dogs who lift a leg to urinate, do the "cover up" thing after doing
business, and pee in their food bowl...
One of my girls does all three; however, the food bowl she peed in wasn't
her own - it belonged to our other bitch. (We now feed all the doggies in
their crates.) She loves to chase critters out of the yard, and after
they've jumped over or climbed the fence, she marks the spot while cocking a
leg.
Something I've noticed about this bitch... She's VERY muscular. Even her
legs. She still has feminine characteristics, but she looks like a female
body builder. Very toned!
Another thing... This girl is spayed, but is always "flirting" with our
other dogs and trying to mount them. Male, female - it doesn't matter. This
behavior gets ALL the doggies "turned on." Including our neutered boy!
Could it be our girl has an excess of Testosterone???
Has anyone else encountered a bitch like this?
Almost forgot... She is the Alpha. (I'm sure this wasn't hard to figure
out.)
