this is a topic on one of my lists right now (started out that some =

There is actually a book that I tell all new puppy owners about that =
teaches
the owner how to train their dog to piddle and poop on command.=A0 It's
called:=A0 "In Seven Days or Less!=A0 You can teach your dog to =
Eliminate On
Command" by Dr. M.L. Smith.=A0 It is fabulous and it works!
Great for travel and inclimate weather.

It's actually one of the easiest things to train.=A0 People just don't
realize it.=A0 Instead of turning the pup out in the yard to wander
about sniffing and choosing a place....you walk it on a leash to the
spot and give the command and wait until it goes.=A0 If it does, you
praise and it gets playtime, if it doesn't, it goes right back to its
crate until the next break.=A0 I have had pups trained to run to their
spot by 3 months.=A0 And since puppies can't hold it as long as adults,
you get plenty of practice!=A0 It is really very simple to train.
Going potty is what most dogs do anyways once you take them out.=A0 Then
when you go out somewhere, you have your dog on a leash, and you DON'T
allow them to potty anywhere else--quick pop on the leash with a NO!.
I have dryland dogs and we do runs through suburbia often, and
sometimes we go downtown.=A0 My own personal dogs are not service dogs,
but ALL have been trained this way.
I think it is just a matter of people not ever being told that dogs
DON'T have to urinate on everything every 2 seconds (marking males),
and that they can easily be trained to go on command.=A0 Most
dog-training books cover this topic.=A0
