For my senior dogs, my vet gives me a letter saying it is not in the best
interest of my dog to have a rabies shot due to age and medical

My GSD Koda is going on eleven & his 3 year Rabies is do. I just hate
giving him another rabies vaccination. Can others on the list share any
side effects they may have had because of this darn drug law? Kathy Partch

The article: (Prior to getting Mayday’s rabies vaccination several years
ago, I had a titer done to determine his immune levels – a test that
measures antibodies in the blood. Mayday’s rabies titer was off the charts
– higher than that recommended for humans at risk of contact with rabid
animals. But since the law doesn’t allow for titers in place of
inoculations, he still had to be vaccinated. Why does it matter?)
