We're thinking about replacing our carpet with tile or stone flooring. It's a large house and the labor to install tile/stone will cost a fortune, so we're looking into Armstrong Laminate Stone flooring. The squares lock into place and no glue is needed, only grout. We're planning to try it out in the laundry room first to see if it's truly easy to install. My husband and I are not the "do-it-yourself" types, but the installation appears to be pretty straight-forward. We shall see... Lowes carries the stuff and the Armstrong website lets you "design" a room. Here's the link: http://www.armstrong.com/home/us/en/ If anyone's tried this flooring, I'd appreciate your comments.
