It was a long stressful day and I got home after dark worried that my puppies
might be too cold. It was 39 degrees and they were delighted to see me and
perfectly ok. Imagine my absolute delight pulling the October Review from the
mailbox and seeing a picture of Cassie on the front cover. It warmed me all
over. Granted I'm REALLY biased because she is the dam of my sweet young
Sherman (Caisson's Atlanta Burning). Thank you Julie Degen...I hope he lives
up to his mother's expectations and accomplishments.
