So is spitting the food out of your mouth a bad thing so the dog watches you
more consistently? And are pinch collars wrong? Because I do both. I
honestly can't tell if this is satire, or what...
All I know is that when I start trialing, I'll be using a choker because I'm
not allowed to use a pinch, not because I want to. My dog does not respond
well (read at all) to choker corrections. I get a faster and more easily
corrected result with a pinch.
Strauss doesn't care if I choke him or whatever...he'll keep pulling or doing
whatever it is that is WRONG. With a pinch collar, he doesn't pull...he
doesn't like to be pinched. You'd think a body would care more about their air
supply being cut off than being pinched, but, nope.

and I just use the good old fashion choke collor and a treat when she does
good...Crissy does it out of love and having fun...cant say that for some of

obedience dogs...
