I wasn't there, I don't have a premium list, but their
website indicates a GSD obedience trial and all-breed
and obedience and rally trials. If this is true there
were a lot of people showing that are not familiar
with GSD specialities. This problem is going to crop
up again as more and more speciality clubs offer the
all-breed events. Rally entries at all-breeds in
Michigan are averaging about 80+ dogs. If you get that
many entries and half as many at all-breed obedience
even allowing for 2nd entries in obedience you have a
minimum of $2300 in entry fees ($20 entry x 80 for
rally; 30 first entry ob dogs $600; 10 second entry
x$10 $100.)

My question to the judges is: AKC obedience rules
allow entrants to withdraw and have entry fees
refunded if the ring conditions are "deficient."
Obedience Reg Chap. 1, Section 33 and 34. Can the
obedience judge include noise and running from
doubling as a deficient ring condition?

The judge is also required to report to AKC deficient
ring conditions according to these regs.
