OVC Reinstates Certification Program
The CKC would like to advise our membership that an official letter has be=
en received from the Ontario Veterinary College, Radiology Department at t=
he University of Guelph confirming that a re-evaluation of resources and
personnel has occurred, resulting in the uninterrupted and full reinstatem=
ent of the hip certification program.
The news of a possible cancellation of this program was received
earlier this month and as a result many breeders contacted the
OVC expressing concern about the termination of the program.
Due to the constructive feedback provided by breeders and dog
owners, a re-evaluation was undertaken.
The Canadian Kennel Club, on behalf of our many breeders and
dedicated owners, would like to express sincere gratitude to the
OVC for responding so quickly and with such a positive outcome.
