As the story goes -- For thirty years my sainted German grandfather played
the piano in a bawdy house in New Orleans. After all those years the place
was finally raided. When the police questioned Grandpa, his response was
memorable : "Hey, I just played the piano. I had no idea what was going on
upstairs."
