  Home destroyed by fire...they have lost everything, but not each other.
Thank-God.
  Junior Handler Candace was en route home from the Wildwood shows but opted
not to travel all the way home Sunday night due to the weather. She was not
home. Junior handler, Darren, opted not to sleep in his bed Sunday evening,
thankfully, as the fire started under both kid's rooms. Dogs, cats and
puppies were lost. Garnet, Shelley and Darren all got out alive. Garnet
managed to get Darren out despite being in a cast up to his hip due to
recent surgery. The family is shocked, devastated and in limbo. They lost
everything. There is no home insurance. They'll need everything. This is one
of the nicest families in dogs, hands down and they need our help, now. I
have put the following Email together so you have all the information in one
place.
  Thanks in advance for doing anything you can do. The dog show community is
full of compassionate people who want to help each other and times like this
makes me glad that we have each other. Most everything is in place to assist
The Grant Family and Ataboy Reg' Kennel/Boarding Kennel, from afar and
within their locale. Here is how you can help:

  1.) Email money transfers can be sent to Shelley Grant at Email address:

  2.) Monetary donations can also be directed to a Trust Fund that is set up
in Shelley Grant's name at the TD Canada Trust in Kincardine, Ontario:

  3.) Gift cards from places like Wal-Mart, Shopper's Drug Mart,
Zellers/HBC/HomeOutfitters/The Bay, Canadian Tire, Pet Smart, Pet Valu,
etc... can be sent to Sandra Hamilton's address, below.

  4.) Clothing and shoe donations can be sent in the following sizes to
Sandra Hamilton's address, below:
  Women's Clothes sizes 2-6; Women's Shoes sizes 8-8.5;
  Men's Clothes in Large or 36" waist; Men's Shoes size 8;
  Boy's Clothes size 10-12; Boy's Shoes size 5-6.
  Think about boots, hats, scarves, mitts and outdoor-kennel-work type gear.

  5.) Dog food, dog and people blankets, dog and people beds and bedding.
Personal items and warm weather gear is needed now, more than anything.

  All but money donations can be sent to Sandi Hamilton who lives 10 mins
from the Grant's. She has graciously offered to accept donations and do
deliveries to the family. Her address is:
