Hey Guys
Ok, since we talked about Flagyl, and dogs and how yucky it tastes, boy does
it...I wanted to share something I
tried over the last week....
I have asthma, moderate to the really nasty, ER, epinephrine, severe type
when I "piss it off" with a lung infection or some
stupid thing....lol. It's why I run, and take lots of C and Lysine (anti
viral) and green tea caps, and CLA...

and why I got OFF of Advair, the purple disc that was actually killing me
(like it does apparently more people than the asthma itself)...but that is
another really ugly subject.

ANYWAY...many of us asthmatic types, and you know who you are, or others
with respiratory issues, have been prescribed, Singular, and Allegra, to
help alleviate symptoms or causes of some breathing issues...myself
included.
I had only minimal , hardly noticeable effects...bummer.
So I read about ZYRTEC (which I had used in the past for an allergic
reaction to ???? )that left me with welts and swelling on my face an
trunk...great success with Zyrtec...
HOWEVER, I had never tried it for asthma. Instead of taking the Singulair,
Allegra, which didn't do much (remember we live in a very dusty area, with
LOTS of pollen and dogs? yes a few, lol)
Well I knew that Zyrtec prescription was muy expensivo , lol...but since
that company lost the patent to it in 2007, well the generic OTC is waaaaaay
cheaper. So I went to Costco and bought 300 tablets for 1/30th the price of
the scrip.
I also have a young GSD that has goopy eyes occasionally in the
spring/fall.
I took it before going to bed...sleepy? a little....woke up clear, and my
asthma meds are greatly reduced.
I also gave my young GSd one tab, and he stopped with the "goopy" eyes.
I am not a doctor, I don't play one on TV...but if you have asthma, or
related, and the Singulair and Allegra isn't working...you may want to check
it out...Costco is the cheapest.
Check with your doc first...and also great for dogs. 1 , ten mg tablet per
dog once a day for adult GSD '
Kathy...breathing easier. lol
