[ SHOWGSD-L ] OT - fixed the "bird"

Our mocking bird will not come back til spring but I will remember this, it
is very annoying. I have no idea what the ridiculous bird is thinking.
As for possums, my dogs have found great sport in catching and eating
them. Whew, really bad breath when they do.

Subject: OT - fixed the "bird"
Not sure if many would remember me posting about a crazy mockingbird last
spring that was beating the windows in Johns bedroom incessantly for
months. It stopped in early July...feeding babies I guess.
Not sure if it was the same one, but one started today at my window and I
did not think I could take 3 months of it and I know my bed hog Bella
would
never tolerate the interruption of her beauty sleep.
When cleaning the other day I found a ceramic statue of an owl..........so
on the oft chance....I shone the owl up and set it in my bedroom window.
The bird has not come back since!
So Lissa, if he comes knocking you know how to stop it now.
I may get owls for every window!
Now, on to opossums again.
