While part of me can understand the frustration over inconsiderate people in the grooming areas, I think Terri is right. You don't help anyone with OVERT retaliation. I have been crowded, had my blowdryer unplugged as I was using it, had crates and tables encroach on an already overcrowed space that we paid for. But generally if handled politely, and firmly, it is no big deal. I had at Palm Springs a toy exhibitor that insisted on walking his dogs so close to my grooming table (which was nowhere near the aisle) that twice he bumped into me, nevermind he had to do this rather than walk down the desinated aisle a whole extra ten feet to his set up. No the arrogant jerk persisted in walking through our set up, even moving a crate to get through. I had had enough, and was swamped with about 7 dogs to groom....I very quietly put Nitro on the table, heheheh, and saw the guy heading towards us again...I warned him that it "wasn't a good idea to use our set up for a short cut"....well he got about 4 feet from me and Nitro roared, and spit and ivory was all you could see on his big black face....the guy turned white, and I am pretty sure had to change his undies. He muttered something, and turned on his indignant heels and never was rude the rest of the weekend.....Good Ole Nitro, lol. But for the most part , I have found that other breed exhibtors are very nice, or at least polite, and they are, like we, trying to get through a crowded grooming schedule with little hassle as possible. I have enjoyed their conversations, their brags after a great win, and their unbelievable kindness to Kaitlyn. I learn that most are accepting and even helpful if you are in a rush and cannot find an outlet ANYWHERE! ARGGH. Its dogshows, its supposed to be enjoyable, not a battleground.
