This is off topic, and I'm not even sure it is a GSD. My former neighbor
sent this to me. She knew what kind of "dog lady" I was living across the
road from me for 20 + years.
I guess I am just venting to the list, but this kind of thing annoys the
H*** out of me.
How can so called breeders such as this get away with this? The bigger
question is when will the general uninformed public learn?
I answered my friend with a very long email. Before I can be more specific
with answers to her questions I need to know the age and breed of the dog,
and what paperwork she was given, etc.
My feelings are the same as she a big UHG!!!

the puppy is gagging. It doesn't vomit. But it frequently gaggs. The
"breeder" was located in Gardnerville and had over 45 puppies. Doesn't this
sound like a puppy mill to you? I asked what kind of health
certificate/guarantee they had and hips, elbows, eyes. And they didn't know
what I was talking about. They said they had a health guarantee that was
good until they took the pup in for its shots!! Then Richard said the dogs
hips were guaranteed to be fine for it's life! The breeder also advised
them to feed NutriMax mixed with any common cat food and mix in yogurt once
a day. Have you ever heard of anything like that? Also, what about the
gagging? I suggested they get to a vet immediately and call the breeder and
get OFA cerificates and proof of eye exam. And also what is the current
suggestion for feeding large breed puppies? Thanks, We are up here in Tahoe
for a funeral tomorrow. Roger's uncle died. Then we head back home
