There was an article in my local paper on Friday. It perhaps could be of
interest in regard to National sites.
The following cities were dubbed American Dream Towns in the August issue of
OUTSIDE magazine.
Salt Lake City, UT.
Littleton, NH
Fort Collins, COLO.
Charleston, S.C.
Davis, CA
Portland, ORE.
Chicago, ILL.
Madison, WIS.
Pasadena, CA
Portland, MAINE.
Please don't shoot the messenger, but I find it interesting that SLC is #1,
and Fort Collins is #2. I personally think that with that kind of rep for
these cities, we should all be thanking our GSDCA board for their insight,
in looking at and considering these places.
Beryl ....who is happy to be a resident of #5 Davis, CA.(and no I wouldn't
plug Davis for a National site, but it is a GREAT PLACE to live!)
