We've been feeding Orijen for a while. All our dogs do fantastic on the stuff
and love it.
Here's an article about the Orijen plant and manufacturing "philosophy." After
reading this article and doing some research, we switched to this food.

For about 9 years, Eagle Pack has always been our kennel kibble. This
summer though, the dogs began eating grass in huge amounts, seeking the
clippings and preferring to gulp it down or seek it out. Getting them to
follow me into the kennel after their exercise was strangely hard to
accomplish. What the heck was happening? I went onto Greatdanelady.com and
found there that she wasn't feeding Eagle anymore and it was no longer her
food of choice. The Dogfoodanalysis.com site only rated Eagle as a 2 out of
6... shocked or what! Huge price for a grade 2 food?
So, Bas and I began a week long research project. We tried a few feeds out
that didn't work for the dogs. The dogfoodanalysis site really helped us...
.. We found that ORIJEN, a Canadian made dog kibble out of Alberta was
awarded the 2009-2010 Best Pet Food Award. I know some of you have your
dogs on it... And, I'd like to hear what you think. What I've found so far
in feeding it to our 9 dogs, is that the stools are dense, smaller, less of
them and can be rolled onto my shovel. That's a first.
Right away though...my grass eating dog/cows have given up their grass
clippings. Now, this really means something to me.. I was so concerned
with blockage, that's how bad it was.
Oh.... and, it costs a lot less than Eagle. ORIJEN... rated 6 out of 6 by
the the Analysis group.
Writing the List...... thought you might like to know about our own
discovery with this new brand.
