That is a bit short sighted. There are thousands who breed dogs that do
not match the standard for the GSDCA. They are called other breeds.
We chose to set our own target, then spend our time trying to meet it.
But,we should never forget it is we, (and VonStephanitz), who decided on a
breed standard. Now we choose to strive for it. There is no apriori truth to
it.
Those who pick something else have the right to march to whatever drummer
they choose.
I am not going to be the one to throw the first dog biscuit.
Remember, people who live in glass houses should go to the gas station to
use the bathrooms.
