My little girl, RiverRock's Hotel California (Callie) got her OFA prelim report
today. Hips good, elbows clear! Yay! Now we are looking for that first
point! Callie is out of Bailey and my Rollins daughter Venus. She will be a
year old on Mar 3.
Venus came in season today. It looks like that whelping box is coming in out
of the garage. I know that it probably sounds silly to say that Venus has been
giving me messages about wanting another litter, but, I swear it's the truth!
For the past week, she has been coming to me the way she did when she was
pregnant, wanting me to rub her stomach while she made prolonged eye contact
with me. I would say, "Are those our puppies?" And her eyes would say, "Yes."
Now she wants more, and so do I.
