Dania, I couldn't agree with you more. And Lew describes it perfectly as a
tool.(nothing more, nothing less).
OFA #'s are(or should be) a factor in breeding decisions, but several other
criteria far outweigh it. I do think the majority of breeders give it the
appropriate weight, as evidenced by the improvement of the GSD in the
overall HD standings(38th).
