Hi All - I need a little help here. About a month ago, my 15 month old pup, decided to launch herself over my two rows of lawn bags while chasing a ball. She came up lame. We did crate rest and some asprin and she was fine within a few days. Now she is lame again on the same shoulder. She is very fit, sound on both ends, hasn't grown for quite a while and is kept lean. I have her scheduled for a radiograph tomorrow morning. My questions are: 1. What is the most common age for OCD? I have only seen it once in dals and that was a 4 - 5 month old pup. 2. Should I put her under to do the radiograph or let her be awake - I do hips without anesthesia and have never had a problem. 3. I hadn't plan to do prelims for hips and elbows, but am thinking I might do it now.. What is everyone's opinions... I certainly wouldn't make a special trip to do it, but since she is already going in for radiographs.. Looking forward to answers...or maybe not.... I hate to think that it might have been my fault..
