[ SHOWGSD-L ] Nutty Story

I had to share this story with the list. My husband went to the store for me
yesterday and while standing in line, he was staring at the line of Tabloids on
the rack. One had a picture of a supposed GSD on front with the heading "DOG
SHOW WINNER BUSTED FOR STEROIDS". Of course, this grabbed his attention, so he
bought it. (Weekly World News, April 11, 2005 issue). You cannot believe the
picture that goes with this story on page12,13, how they ever concocted this
picture, I will never know. Supposedly, Mr. Parsley, the dog, was kicked out
of Westminster, when his owner , Veterinarian, Mary Jane Snow was caught giving
him steroids. This story would be hilarious if it wasn't for the fact that
there are probably actually people out there that believe the crap they read in
these things. The funniest thing of all is the picture of the dog. I would
still be laughing if it was't for the $2.99 my dumb husband paid for the darn
thing. I don't even have a bird cage to put it in.
