I don't think it's a secret we all knew this event would generate a loss. With 
this economy? There is no surprise on that. I don't know of anyone who "wanted" 
that to be the case, but many suspected that would be the case. It is what it 
is. Unfortunately. 

Questions:  what other aspects of this 2 week long affair generated a positive 
return?  Did it secure international respect for the GSDCA? 

It saved money for the USA team, as they did not have to travel overseas. 

What other positives, if any, were there?  

When should the membership expect to see a financial report? 

Personally, I had a wonderful time at the National, and Gail did quite a magic 
act with what she had to work with. I saw that site a couple if weeks before 
show time. It was a disaster.
