Oh yeah, I am extremely demanding in this department... but, kind and fair. And, very clear. Being gsd's, they are quick to learn and quick to relax. I've had a boarder (not often do I do this in my smallish kennel), for Christmas. My dogs woofed a few times, but mainly wagged tails. The boarder fit in right away because Mom said so.
