Actually, Colorado ruined Kierk for the show ring. We traveled two days in
a car with Summer, Adam, Jacqueline Tedi and myself. Kierk was in a crate
for four days, two each way.
He did go Select, but now hates to get in a car. By the time he gets to
the show, he is done with being happy. He showed that when Gloria and Cappy
drove him to St. Louis. He only made the first cut under Bart. Previously
Bart had given him
BOB in a specialty show where there were six select champions entered in
the Best of Breed class.
Thankfully he already had his Silver Grand Champion, (I think that is the
one), and his Select and AOE. But, his show career is over.
Now he lives in the house. Loves everyone he meets, and is a great tool
for selling puppies. And, whenever I fall asleep, he insists on getting on
the bed and putting his head on my neck.
It is not nearly as endearing as it sounds.
