Actually, I will be in training.? That is where the assistance dog training is
held.? Grand Rapids, I think.? Having grown up in MN and living through those
cold winters, it makes me shiver to think about going back in the winter.? I
will only have one weekend free and since my brother lives too far away in
Michigan and the rest of the family is in MN, I am hoping for a dog show to
attend :-)? Don't know the dates yet but you can be sure I'll be asking you all
when I know.? Do you have winter shows?? Wow, indoor dog shows again.? That's
been a long time :-)? I know it will be exciting and I do have my down Packers
coat I can bring.? That should go over well in Michigan, LOL!

If you don't have to work, Michigan in the Winter is fantastic. Go to Lake
Michigan and walk out on the frozen waves, or Petosky and go skiing. The Upper
Peninsula with miles and miles of white pine trees frosted with snow, and
roads lined with soft powder, are fantastic sights. Yards sparking with white
frosting, and soft flakes in the air. Crystal ice haiging from the roofs, and
clean clear air all day long, leave a frost on the ground every morning, and
red cheeks on blonde kids playing in the drifts. All great things.
No, I never want to go there again in the Winter. But, you have a great
time.
