Vegas weather is dry, still relatively warm (high 80's & 90's)....high
desert, i.e. no grass other than residential homes that water in the middle
of the night.
Hotels that accept dogs are Motel 6, and some temporary residential
suites.... (low grade). There are a few others but they are scattered.
Most of the streets are multiple laned, lots of stop lights, and as close
to being a freeway but not one. Therefore it can take a lot of travel time
to reach destinations.

I checked out South Point about 10 years ago in my quest to find a West
Coast site. Nothing has changed. I informed the Board of my findings. They
met there anyways. At that time herding was a problem also.

Now I don't think dogs are allowed in hotel rooms but so what, if your dog
is safely close by in a monitored stall with hotel security 24/7 that seems
like an acceptable alternative , or you could book a hotel that excepts
dogs. If this location could become a reality it could be a site in the
Rotation ( if in fact Rotation ever comes back) Peg is so right! You can't
tell me as big as the west is our board can't find a place to have a west
National, the Goldens did! or perhaps we need a new board! And Molly that
