Honestly Lee the CHinese imports scare me to death...melamine,
lead...pesticides..what next?
I bought a cute garden tool set for Hunter a couple of years ago...a shovel,
trowel, rake, hat ..all brightly colored with little bug faces at the
top...just darling. He loved using them to plant sunflowers and work next to
me...I find out a year later, they were recalled because of over the top
lead content...I threw them out immediately.
The stores here, Trader Joe's (love that place) kind of a return to the
small grocery/market of the past, but with some really cool stuff....STOPPED
all imports of any product from China...permanently. This was done at the
requests of their patrons. I wish more stores would do the same.
