Tish,
I haven't been there yet either but I did speak to the Director, (Manager,
whatever his title is) a couple of months before it opened and no there is
not artificial turf inside. They put down the same flooring system as is
used for indoor track and field events at the Olympics. It is very
expensive and specially designed for running on. They tell me it is
excellent for people and dogs. Supposedly the best in the world for the
best athletes in the world. There are also acres and acres of beautiful
grass if we wanted to hold it outside like we do all of our other shows .
He also told me that they keep a herd of sheep on site for our use (free) in
herding. When in doubt give this guy a call or shoot him an email. (I
don't recall the web address offhand) He was very willing to talk and was
very interested in having us hold our premier event there. Of course that
was a couple of years ago and our dates are probably taken by now.
