[ SHOWGSD-L ] North Carolina bill (re: dogs)

Besides being 47th in public school education, paying teachers poverty
level salaries, NC also wants to regulate the number of dogs breeders have.
Might sound ok at first: It is saying that you must be inspected, et al,
if you have 10+ intact bitches. (Hunting and show dogs are exempt, FOR
NOW.) Because I have 4, I could say, well, it doesn't concern me--but it
does. If this bill passes, 10 could later be modified to 8, 6, 4, etc.
The bill claims to be going after puppy mills, but I believe it eventually
could go after everybody. No one is safe. Contact your legislators. And
keep looking over your shoulders.
