[ SHOWGSD-L ] Non GSD but something everyone should read....

Having been involved with Rescue now for the past 5 or 6 years, I have seen
some cases that made me question humanity in general. There have been more
stories of severe abuse and neglect than I care to remember; the faces haunt me
and remind me of our obligation to care for those who have no voice to speak
for themselves.
This case was posted on my FB site by a friend. It happened in NJ on
St. Patrick's day, hence the name for the dog. While it is one of the most
graphic photos I have ever seen, Patrick DOES survive and is
gaining ground each day. Please post this link to YOUR FB page in the hopes of
locating the monster who threw this dog down a garbage chute.
When you sell those puppies that you bring into the world, please please...ask
for Vet references, personal references, do home checks, give a contract that
states that the dog MUST be returned to you if the buyer can no longer keep
him/her even if it means sweetening the deal with a "money back" offer. Because
even WITH these efforts, these
barbarians are lurking out there...imagine one of your puppies ending up like
Patrick.
