In some ways I do see what you are saying, Lee.
It seems that our bank account balance IS becoming a strong deciding factor
in GSDCA business.
First, the desire to buy a show site and have it be managed by a group of
so-called outside, private investors and then the Purina info-mercial that
our 2006 National and annual meeting seemed to be this past year have left
me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I can only hope that when all the smoke blows away, there will be an
accountability of funds that we can stomach. Sometimes Checks & Balances do
need to be tightened up.
BTW, what happened to the Beaumont site? Did I miss a Board-O-Gram or
something in the Official Minutes?? The GSDCA website still shows Beaumont
as the 2008 site.

I am glad to see someone has figured this out. A couple of board members
campaigned against me last year when I ran for re-election because I would
not
vote the way they wanted me to vote. Reason being the way they wanted me
to
vote was not in the best interest of the membership. I have been saying
that many on this board has the membership fooled and now they finally are
proving me correct.
People need to really pay attention and see what they are doing. One year
was enough for me to figure it out. You have a clique and that is how is
controlling.
