It is no harder to fly to Houston than it is to Boston, just longer. I
have to admit, I am no longer 60, and travel with a dog is difficult. This is
a fact we will have to deal with. I will drive to Utah, but not many
others will. I know Ann will bring one dog, but not the six or so she showed
in
Ohio.
It will be smaller on the coast, but should also be less expensive. The key
is that it will give an opportunity to those in the area, (within 200
miles) to attend another national.
When you remember we are a club for everyone, you will make the choices
that allow exhibitors from all over a chance to be there some of the time.
The International Brotherhood of Magicians was going to be in Grand Rapids,
but they changed it to San Diego. And, all we have to bring is our
assistants and a set of linking rings.
Maybe we just need to reconsider our hobby.
