We see Marion and Sam every year at the Florida Circuit
My mom sits with Sam and they chat about old times
She fondly recalls the time my young daughter (now 36 years old) took her
assistance dog into
the Novice class at a specialty show. There were about 9 - 12 bitches in the
class. He gave her
a 4th place ribbon (the dog did not win it, I can assure you) and when he
handed out the ribbons
he made her take a special Juniors pass around the ring, making a big deal out
of her WIN to
encourage Juniors
My daughter also remembers the event and how special this judge treated her.
It is one of the few things my mother who suffers from dementia clearly
remembers
Thank you Sam for being one of the special people is this world
