[ SHOWGSD-L ] Newbie in Reverse

...unlike most newbies the first two show dogs I ever bought 11 years ago, a
brother-sister pair whelped in Canada by Audrey Marsh sired by the late great
GV CH. Mar Haven's Color Guard turned out pretty good ,the Male was Boss' first
American and Canadian Champion, the bitch will be in next month's Review as a
new ROM...what have I done since?..lol..not much...spent a hell of a lot of
money....perhaps I just need to get rid of Basu...Art Sinclair where are
you!!!!!!....maybe I'm not a true newbie, in 1970 my dad showed Great
Danes...he thought judges played too many games, he quit showing in 1971 and
never ever attended another dog show...however when I was showing my male
before he reached his Championship I got frustrated with all the RWDs, I told
my dad I was going to quit showing, my dad encouraged me to keep going, that
advice really surprised me...I did , the rest is history...I miss my dad....Ed
