This sounds like an "Instructor" who does not deserve to be around animals for
any reason. Definately not telling novice pet owners how to treat their
animals.The good thing, & I find there usually as a good thing in all
experiances, is they now know the wrong way to train a puppy. You are a good
breeder & can putall of that into words they will understand. Common sense &
making everything fun for puppies is very important. I even like to let them be
puppies & ask veryof them. A terrific movie to watch is BUCK. It is about
training horses, but applies to all animals & is a thought provoking easy to
understand look at what it islike to be on the horses (dogs) end of the leash.
i ordered it on line after seeing it on Showtime. I've watched it at least 5 or
6 times. Tell those new owners toput the bad experience out of their minds &
keep the excitement of owning a Show Dog. There will be a lot of future joy &
dissapointment it all comes with theterritory. The joy far out weighs the
dissapointment. In the end they will be proud of that well-bred German Shepherd
