For anyone who is interested there is a modem you can buy that plugs into
your laptop and works like a cell phone to go on line from the car, a park, or
just at home. It costs nothing to buy, (it was $200 with a $195 rebate), and
it costs $29.00 a month for the service.
I love the freedom and when I am at a show, I post as soon as the show is
over, and when on the road do the List from the car. I go on line at airports,
and in my room. When I am in a motel, I use it rather than dial up, as it is
closer to DSL than dial up.
I use the ATT&T service, as I understand it is the fastest. I don't see any
difference from my DSL in speed.
