That is why I say every dog sale or agreement must be in writing and signed by
all parties involved.
I have taken dogs back and gone with folks while they put their pets down. I
have put puppies down that I knew would be a mistake to place. I have held on
to young dogs waiting for the right person to come along. I have paid for OPD,
Other people dogs, to be veted because they needed help. To me this is what
being IN DOGS is all about.

You're right <G> we differ on this. I think the analogy is 40+ years in
the making but on a small scale or on a large scale it's time for
accountability. In fact, it's well past time.
I vacillate between thinking, "ah just let it go, work on yourself" and
saying something. Believe it or not, most of the time I don't say anything.
I also get about 1/2 dozen calls + a week from people who have been
terribly wronged in the dog game...maybe it just strikes a nerve after a while.
