[Showgsd-l Freelists] New Server Status Report

Good evening List Members.
I see many test posts successfully making it to the List, so it appears
that most of you are in good shape. If you are not seeing your own posts,
the problem is probably a result of your spam settings, or your server may
be slow about processing incoming mail. The spam settings are changeable,
but all Internet providers do this differently, so you will need to
communicate with their Tech Support department if you don't know how to
make the changes.
Slow server reaction (or occasionally complete non-reaction), can happen to
any Internet provider, depending on volume and other conditions, so it is
often just a temporary thing. But if you are having trouble with incoming
List posts from the Freelists server, please do whatever is necessary to
make sure your Internet Provider specifically allows posts to you from that
domain. Otherwise the posts are being intercepted.
I am noticing that the server is taking a few hours to respond on
administrative matters. I assume this is because it is being hit with many
request re all of our settings. and that it is temporary. I will also
track how long it takes from the time I send this post until it appears on
the List.
