Molly, Peggy, etc: The Review is a business and should be treated as such so should the Editor be treated as an employee. I am sure there are IRS regulations governing paid positions in a non profit organization. Therefore, I believe it would be a direct conflict of interest for a person to be in a paid position for an organization and yet show dogs at the same time to possibly Board members who put her in that position, judges or members who send advertisements to the Review. If as Molly stated (who was at the meeting) a negative vote upheld the no show ruling then why would a committee be necessary to change this for this editor? I would hope that when the candidates submitted their applications they were made aware of this restriction and currently in place P&P rule.
