What other choice did they have? One can only have ones work crucified so
many times. I still feel some of this work was doable. Yes, it needed
more, perhaps more on the committee and more input. But to stop now ???
So here you had a committee that put a couple of years into doing something
with board input all along the way......I was at a couple of those board
meetings and no one, repeat here, no one person on the board ever said SCRAP
THIS PROJECT, IT IS BAD!. Some made comments on problems, lots of suggestions
to
the committee. The board was to be working with the committee on them.
Did anyone ever see the finished product? Talk about throwing the baby out
with the bath water.....
How does this make most of you feel out there? Are you wanting to jump
into a committee, do a few years work, have the membership breathing on you
for
everything, then throw it away. And then have membership yelling
yipee......may this person perhaps take over the project and see to a better
job. We
should all feel ashamed for condemning, not solving.
Except you Fred and a few others.
It is no wonder serious problems are perceived with the board at the present
time.
To the committee of the NIS, thank you for the hours spent.
