[ SHOWGSD-L ] Nerve damage

A friend of mine has a German shepherd, (8) show is showing signs of nerve
damage in one rear leg. The vet has told him that she has a nerve on one side
in the rear and is not sending information to that leg. She is dragging the
leg, but hops and runs fine. She is wearing off the toe nails, and they are
keeping a boot on that foot.
I told him that I would address this with the List, and forward any
suggestions.
Any ideas?
