[ SHOWGSD-L ] Needing help for K-9 Dogs

The Wilmington PD has a total of 11 K-9 officers (read dogs). Their human  
counterparts....(LOL)....are working hard at raising funds to get all dogs  
equipped with vests that are both bullet proof and stab proof.
 
These vests run about $800 each, and they are short 5 vests at this  points.
 
Any ideas what can WE do as a group, as a club or just as plain GSD lovers  
to help these officers?
 
Did I mention their GSD's are BEAUTIFUL!!!??!!??!! 
 
By the way, they also  have a Malinois, and the breed club donated its  
vest......(hint, hint..)
 
Please send me your ideas.
