[ SHOWGSD-L ] Need sale advice

We have been talking with people for six weeks about buying a puppy. They
keep assuring us they want the puppy. But transportation problems etc. keep
getting in the way of them purchasing the dog. They have given no deposit.
The puppy is now older, many people have shown interest in the dog. Two
weeks ago, we made it plain we were concerned about this behavior. They said
they were going to arrange to pick up the puppy. Nothing has happened. We
have only gone along with this because a friend is involved with these
people. Now we feel we are justified to end this deal. For the puppy's sake
as well as ours. Please let me know your views on this. Thank you, Jane
